How long does setup take?
Most teams see their first insight within 15 minutes. Drop our SDK snippet into your app, or connect your existing Segment warehouse — historical data backfills automatically.
Do I need to know SQL or write queries?
No. Orbit’s core experience is asking questions in plain English. Power users can still drop into SQL for fully custom analyses, and every generated query is visible and editable.
Where does my data live, and who can see it?
Your events are encrypted at rest and stored in your choice of EU or US region. We’re SOC 2 Type II certified, and your data is never used to train models for other customers.
Can I try Orbit before paying?
Yes — every workspace starts on a 14-day free trial of the Scale plan, no credit card required. When the trial ends you can pick a plan or drop to the free Starter tier.
What happens if I go over my monthly event limit?
Nothing breaks. We keep ingesting your events and notify you when you cross 80% and 100% of your plan. You can upgrade, buy an event pack, or set a hard ingest cap in settings.
Can I export my data if I leave?
Always. Full raw-event exports are available at any time via the dashboard or API, in JSON or Parquet. Your data is yours, period.
